Wow, it can also be pretty overwhelming. There are so many out there, and a lot of them use words that most of us don’t really get. When I was training, we had to go to therapy ourselves. I knew what I didn’t want, but when I started looking through what I thought I needed, I just got more confused. I kept scrolling, lost interest, and kept telling myself I’d do it tomorrow. It’s so easy to put off something you’re unsure about.
I knew I had to find a therapist if I was going to go through with my journey to qualify. I had to dig into my strengths and accept that it was scary but something I needed to do.

When you’re in doubt, be kind to yourself. Remember, it’s okay not to be okay. Maybe reach out to someone you trust so you’re not alone, but don’t forget to reach out to yourself too - check in and ask, what do I really want or need?
Asking for support isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength and bravery. You don’t have to go through this alone.
